Cecile G. (Henry) Wright, 83, of Whitehall Township, and more recently of Fellowship Community, Whitehall, died on June 24, 2024. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Franklin T. and Verletta (Green) Henry. She was the wife of the late Samuel N. Wright for 57 years.

She was a 1958 graduate of Liberty H.S. and a graduate of the Allentown School of Nursing.

She worked for more than 30 years at Muhlenberg Hospital, Bethlehem.

She was a member of St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath, and of the former Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schoenersville.

She was a member of the Whitehall Women’s Club and the Pocono Painters.

She is survived by a daughter, Beth Smith and husband Tom; a son, Eric Wright and wife Mary Jo; six grandchildren; four great -grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Colleen Cox.

She was predeceased by a son, Wesley Wright.
