Kids pick up hoop victory
Northampton was the only local squad to bring home a win in last week’s action of the Lehigh Valley Summer League with a shortened week due to the Cedar beach Showcase.
There was only one night of action and the K-Kids left with a 74-51 win over Freedom. Leo Regec and Korbin Sellers paced the Kids with 17 points apiece in the runaway victory, as they sit at 5-2 in the team standings.
Whitehall struggled in their game against Executive Charter, dropping a 64-46 decision to put them at 2-5 on the year.
After a hot start to the summer Catasauqua has cooled off and lost another contest last week, falling to Warren Hills 68-47 in the Small School Division.
The Rough Riders are now 4-3 on the campaign as they try to cling to position in the top half of the field.
