Patsy Lane Sweeney, 83, of Salisbury Township, died June 22, 2024, in her home. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Sweeney, who died in 1994. Born in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Louise (Baucom) Hester Cruz.

She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband’s companies, Gar-Lenn Concrete Company and R & R Paving. Later, she took joy in raising her family as a homemaker.

She attended St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by daughters, Denise Bartoni, of Alburtis and Colleen L. Schmidt, of Lancaster; daughter-in-law, Lori, of Macungie; grandchildren, Amber Schmidt, Sean (Britni), Patrick, Joel Bartoni, Michael Kemeter; great-granddaughters, Aleyna and Audrey. She was predeceased by a son, Robert.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. June 26 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
