June E. Pansing, 93, formerly of Whitehall, died June 14, 2024, at the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. She was the wife of Fred Pansing Jr. for 70 years.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John and Laura (Engle) Hencelman.

A lifelong nurse, she started her career at the former Allentown General Hospital as head nurse, then worked at the former Bethlehem Steel in the same capacity. Most recently, she was a school nurse in the Whitehall-Coplay School District for more than 26 years.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Mickleys, where she sang with the choir and served on consistory.
