Eileen E. Stinson, 76, of Emmaus, died June 15, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Richard C. Stinson for 52 years. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late James and Hilda (Stein) Koch.
She was a graduate of Parkland High School and received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Kutztown University.
She was a second grade teacher at Hereford Elementary School for more than 35 years, retiring in 2007.
She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she was a former choir member and Sunday school teacher. She also taught English as a second language in Allentown.
She enjoyed traveling including trips to Australia, Europe and South America. She enjoyed walking and the arts, including Broadway shows.
She loved babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Eric P. and his wife, Karen, of Bethlehem, Matthew J. and his wife, Candice, of Audubon, Mark D. and his wife, Kristina, of Center Valley; grandchildren, Victoria, Laela, Evan, Parker, Andrew, David; sister, Marianne Evans, of Allentown. She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Kistler.
