Northampton Area Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board is holding a community donation drive. The TAB will be collecting items to donate to local organizations. Donations can be dropped off anytime the library is open through Aug. 12.

Northampton Fire Department is hosting its second annual Northampton Fire Cadet Camp July 8-12. The camp, which is now open to nonborough residents and filling fast, will run 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. each day, with a graduation ceremony July 13. Maximum capacity is 20 students.

There is a fee.

The idea of the camp is to help young adults, ages 12-15, learn what a firefighter does. There will be scheduled events throughout each day that will include hands-on training, team building and more.
