Judith V. Smith, 88, of Northampton, died June 4, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Richard M. Smith Sr.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Millie (Yankovich) Genovese.

She was last employed as a cashier for Redner’s Warehouse Markets, Northampton, for 20 years, retiring in 2010. Earlier, she worked at the former Cross Country Clothes, Northampton, as a sewing machine operator and in custodial services for Parkland School District.

She is survived by a son, Richard M. Jr. with Donna of Northampton; two daughters, Terry L. Mosch with Thomas of Orefield and Shelley A. Danser with Frederick of Marlton, N.J.; a brother, James Genovese with Mary of Northampton; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Gabriel; and a sister, Tessie.

Services are private.
