John J. Graberitz, 89, of Northampton, died June 17, 2024. He was the husband of the late Loretta P. (Slack) Graberitz.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late John F. and Anna (Torba) Graberitz.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He belonged to several local American Legions and VFWs in the Lehigh Valley.

He is survived by two children, John J. and wife Denise and Donna Moyer; seven grandchildren, Josh, Amber, Amanda, Michael, Adam, Lucas and Carly; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Tommy, Mia and Isabella; and two brothers, Leonard and Frank “Cookie.”

He was predeceased by a daughter, Melissa Schuler; a brother, Edward; and a son-in-law, Dennis Moyer.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., June 25 at the funeral home, 950 N. Front St., Allentown, 18102.
