Egypt/Cementon: Pool party scheduled for June 21
There will be a Welcome Summer pool party with games and live music 6-8 p.m. June 21 at Parkview Pool, 3051 S. Fifth St., Hokendauqua. An adult free swim is also planned for 9:30-10:30 a.m. June 22.
Pool passes are available 11 a.m.-2 p.m. daily through June 23. After June 23, email bhibbler@whitehalltownship.com to purchase a pass.
Only cash or checks are accepted for payment. You must have identification.
Pool hours for Whitehall residents are set for 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Sundays. Nonresident pool hours are 3-7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Angel Resource Ministries will hold a children’s new clothing and sneakers sale, planned for 9 a.m.-7 p.m. June 21 inside the garage at 5246 Fairview St., Cementon.
The event is cash only. Profits benefit local schools, churches, shelters and Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative.

June concerts at Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, include Whiskey Mansion June 21, Stage Devils June 27 and Trick Stacy June 29. All concerts will begin 7 p.m.
Members attend for free, but there is a cost for guests and nonmembers.

Whitehall Township’s summer concert series begins with a performance by the Large Flowerheads 6-9 p.m. June 22 at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St.
Arrive by 5:30 p.m. for the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Whitehall Parkway pavilion. Food will be available for purchase.

Registration is open for children, ages 3 to those completing sixth grade, for Scuba Vacation Bible School at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt. VBS is scheduled for 6-8:30 p.m. June 24-28.
