4-H Candy making camp in July

Youth between the ages of 8-18, as of Jan. 1, are invited to join Lehigh County Cooperative Extension for a candy making camp 6-8 p.m. July 1, 2 and 3.

The camp will take place at the Lehigh County 4-H Extension Center, 4184 Dorney Park Road, South Whitehall Township.

Campers will learn about the art of candy making, while being taste testers.

They will create their own candy, while learning basic kitchen safety skills.

Registration is limited to 20 for the camp.

Once the session is filled, youth can register to be added to the wait list.

The per camper fee covers the ingredients, supplies and use of equipment.

For youth who are not already enrolled 4-H members, there will be a 4-H enrollment fee charge.

If you are interested in this camping experience for your child or for more information on 4-H, contact the Lehigh County 4-H office at 610-391-9840.

Registration can be made by visiting 4h.zsuite.org and registering through Lehigh County, then choose the camp under the Events page.
