Petrie’s 19 points lead Falcons to third straight win

The Salisbury High School boys basketball team recently began offseason competition in the Lehigh Valley Boys Summer League at Cedar Beach park in Allentown.

The Falcons are riding a three-game winning streak after dropping their first game of the summer.

Salisbury rolled to a 23-point margin of victory in a 68-45 win over Upper Perkiomen last Tuesday, June 4. Garrett Linder tallied a game-high 23 points.

The Falcons capped off a winning week by taking down Colonial League foe Catasauqua 59-51 on Thursday night, with Petrie recording a team and game-high 19 points to help hand Catty its first loss of summer.

Salisbury headed into this week at 3-1 overall and tied for second place in the Small School Division with the Rough Riders and Lehighton. Warren Hills is unbeaten at 3-0.
