Terry R. Mace, 69, of Allentown, died June 10, 2024.
He was the husband of almost 49 years of Vicky L. (Derhammer) Mace.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Arland W. and Margaret M. (Deppe) Mace.
A 1973 graduate of William Allen High School, he co-owned Tom & Terry’s IGA in Allentown, delivered for Pepsi and served as a bartender for Hogan’s Social Club for many years before retiring in 2021.
A life member of the Hogan’s Social Club and the Cetronia Fire Company, he was also a member of the Mercantile Club and Cedar Church, where he was active with Boy Scout Troop 29.
With his heart of gold, he would find any reason to organize a good time for his friends and family which consisted of bus trips, golf tournaments and fundraisers.
An avid Eagles and Phillies fan, he enjoyed the casinos, hanging out with his friends and most importantly he loved life
He was very proud of his grandson and sons, as both his sons are Eagle Scouts.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Michael P. Mace; son Eric J. Mace, daughter-in-law Cassandra, and grandson Brandon; and sister Linda Hughes.
His service will be at 11 a.m. June 15 in the Cedar Church, 3419 Broadway, Allentown, 18104.
Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. June 14 in Stephens Funeral Home Inc., 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown, and 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the church.
