Samuel A. Schaadt

Samuel A. Schaadt, 85, of Treichlers, died June 2, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Janet (Kuntz) Schaadt for 60 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Monroe G. and Violet P. (Stankovich) Schaadt.

He was a 1956 graduate of Parkland High School and received an engineering degree in 1960 from Penn State University.

He worked in quality control for Mack Trucks, in both Allentown and Macungie, for 38 years before retiring in 1994.

He attained the rank of fellow with the American Society for Quality Control and was a member of Chapman Lodge No. 637, F&AM.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Christine M. and husband Richard Hildebrand of Walnutport; a son, John S. and wife Keri Schaadt of Emmaus; and three grandchildren, Ashley, Elijah and Sydney.

He was predeceased by a sister, Bonita Kotch.
