Joseph W. Czonstka, 95, of Northampton, died peacefully June 2, 2024, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Bernadine (Marsolick) Czonstka for more than 70 years.

Born in Ormrod, he was a son of the late Julian and Veronica (Zima) Czonstka.

He was employed as a line inspector for Mack Trucks Corporation, Allentown, for more than 30 years before retiring in 1993.

He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea, achieving the rank of A 2/c.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Christine A. and husband Michael Kahn of Allentown; a son, Anthony J. and wife Gail of Allen Township; five grandchildren; three great-grandsons; a sister, Lucille Jiorle of Alpha, N.J.; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by five sisters, Stephania, Victoria, Stella, Helen and Elizabeth; and five brothers, Emil, Stanley, Thaddeus, Francis and Edwin.
