Douglas Stephen Mabus, 68, of Emmaus, died May 25, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Tamara L. Salmon-Mabus for 37 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Buraldine (Beanie) H. (Stephen) Mabus and the late Richard C. Mabus.
He was a graduate of Montville High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in computer science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
He worked in software development and project management for the City of Newark, ADP, Hoffmann-La Roche and retired from United Healthcare, Basking Ridge, N.J.
He was a happy skier and avid fisherman and loved to share his knowledge and experience with others.
He is survived by his wife; mother; brother, John R. (Donna); sister, Patricia A. (Mel); three nieces; one nephew; one great-nephew.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
