Catasauqua: The Benny Band to perform June 14

The free summer concert series continues. The Benny Band performs 7-10 p.m. June 14 at the amphitheater at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

Additionally, the Main Street Cruisers will perform 6-9 p.m. June 15.

Get out your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun evening.

The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will next meet 10 a.m. June 17.

A picnic lunch will be served. Entertainment will be provided by Rob Ballonoff.

Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., will offer its monthly free community lunch for all 11 a.m.-1 p.m. June 17.

Come on out for some great food and camaraderie with fellow Catasauqua residents.

The Friends of Catasauqua Parks will next meet 6:30 p.m. June 19 at borough hall, 90 Bridge St.

The group meets the third Wednesday of each month. The mission is to improve the quality of life of Catasauqua residents through recreational fundraising events to sustain the parks.

The group is always looking for new volunteer members. There are no costs or dues to pay to join this group.

Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua is planning to hold Vacation Bible School 9 a.m.-noon June 24-28 in the chapel.

Children ages 3 years old to fifth graders are invited to participate. Learn about Jesus as a child in Nazareth.

Register your children by calling the church office at 610-264-2595. Children 12 and older would be welcome additions as aides.
