Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

MAY 18

Traffic violations took place at Second and Union streets and at Front and Willow streets, the latter with the driver cited.

At Front and Union streets, suspicious activity was investigated.

Officers checked a building in the 200 block of Wood Street.

At Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., a security check was conducted.

MAY 19

Police responded to the same location in the 500 block of Front Street for a wanted person and a domestic disturbance. No arrests were made.

Jose Santiago, 30, of Bethlehem, was arrested for a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Second Street.

A verbal domestic disturbance, with no arrests, in the 100 block of Wood Street was investigated.

Officers assisted Lehigh Valley International Airport Police at LVIA, 3311 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

An animal complaint was handled in the 500 block of St. John Street.

MAY 20

A parking complaint at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, was addressed.

In the 700 block of American Street, a disturbance was investigated.

Officers conducted welfare checks in the unit block of Front Street and the 300 block of Walnut Street, the latter involving a juvenile and a Safe2Say report.

The theft of a registration plate in the 200 block of Lehigh Street had police at the scene.

MAY 21

Police responded to a disturbance report in the 700 block of American Street.

An animal was found in the 400 block of Bridge Street. The dog was later reunited with its owner.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of South Front Street.

MAY 23

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1100 block of Third Street, North Catasauqua.

A reportable motor vehicle accident in the 300 block of Lehigh Street was investigated.

A lost/stolen debit card case in the 400 block of Walnut Street was handled.

Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

A 17-year-old male was charged with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

MAY 24

Parking complaints were addressed in the unit block of Front Street, the 400 block of Church Street and the 600 block of Lehigh Street.

Charges are pending against a juvenile at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, for a disturbance involving a fight.

Welfare checks were conducted in the 200 block of Church Street and the 300 block of School Street.

A traffic violation took place at Front and Bridge streets.

MAY 25

A verbal warning was given for a traffic violation at Second and Pine streets.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a verbal domestic disturbance took place. No arrests were made.

In the unit block of Front Street, a parking complaint was addressed.

The theft of a registration plate in the 200 block of Second Street was reported.

Police conducted welfare checks in the 100 block of Front Street and the 700 block of Railroad Street.

A neighbor dispute occurred in the unit block of Cambridge Place.

Officers responded to two domestic disturbance reports at the same residence in the 100 block of Front Street. The second involved an arrest of Coraly Santiago Montalvo, 32, of Catasauqua, for simple assault and harassment.

MAY 26

An assault with mace at Fourth and Pine streets was reported.

A civil matter in the 300 block of Oak Street took place.

Welfare checks were conducted in the 100 block of Front Street.

Police handled a traffic stop at Front and Strawberry streets.

A wanted person in the 500 block of St. John Street was reported.

A report of clothing stolen in the 400 block of Walnut Street was filed with the department.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Prospect Street.

An animal complaint at North 14th Street and Lenape Circle was investigated.

Police were on the scene of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

MAY 27

Civil matters in the 300 block of Church Street and the 900 block of Race Street were investigated, the latter involving property.

A noise complaint in the 300 block of Mulberry Street was addressed.

MAY 28

A parking complaint in the unit block of Second Street was handled.

Traffic violations took place at Second and Church streets, with the driver cited, and at Front and Union streets, with a verbal warning issued.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Railroad Street.

Officers responded to a harassment report in the 700 block of Second Street. No arrests were made.

An unwanted person in the 700 block of Railroad Street was reported.

MAY 29

Traffic violations occurred in the 700 block of Front Street and at Race and South 14th streets.

At Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., a juvenile complaint was addressed. A 13-year-old male was cited for harassment.

An unattended death at Catasauqua Apartments, 188 Bridge St., was investigated.

Police assisted a citizen in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

MAY 30

Traffic violations were handled at Second and Union streets and Front and Race streets, both with a verbal warning issued, and at Chapel Street and Howertown Road and Second and Union streets, both with a citation issued.

Thefts from vehicles in the 300 block of Bridge Street, involving checks, and the 700 block of Third Street, involving a catalytic converter, were reported to the department.

An unwanted person in the unit block of West Race Street was reported.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Race Street.

A verbal domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Church Street was investigated. No arrests were made.

Police assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Kurtz Street.

MAY 31

An animal complaint in the 500 block of St. John Street was addressed.

A civil matter in the 200 block of Lehigh Street was reported.

Police provided an emergency protection-from-abuse order in the 300 block of School Street.

Officers conducted welfare checks in the 700 block of Second Street and the unit block of Cambridge Place.

A noise complaint in the unit block of Mulberry Street had police at the scene.

JUNE 1

A reckless driver in the 300 block of Union Street was reported.

In the 600 block of Limestone Street, a disturbance was investigated.

JUNE 2

Police responded to harassment by communication reports in the 400 block of Front Street and the 200 and 600 blocks of Poplar Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Third Street.

Noise complaints in the 300 block of High Street and the 300 block of Mulberry Street were reported.
