During the month of June, Emmanuel’s Church will help the Bath Area Food Bank by collecting jelly and cereal.

There is a special need for canned string beans, canned corn, chicken noodle soup and peanut butter. Donations can be dropped off in the bins in fellowship hall or the upstairs gathering area.

The food bank is always in need of monetary donations, and A-Hart’s gift cards are needed for emergencies. Bring all gift cards in an envelope marked “food bank” to the church office.

The property committee of Emmanuel’s Church will be holding an outdoor work party 9 a.m. June 22, unless there is a down pour. The focus will be on the propane tank beautification project, but many other things need to be addressed as well.

Donuts and coffee will be provided. Bring your gardening tools.
