Samuel A. Schaadt, 85, of Treichlers, died June 2, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township.
Born July 31, 1938, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Monroe G. and Violet P. (Stankovich) Schaadt.
He and his wife, Janet (Kuntz) Schaadt, were married 60 years ago, on April 11, 1964.
He worked in quality control for Mack Trucks, in both Allentown and Macungie, for 38 years before retiring in 1994.
A 1956 graduate of Parkland High School, he earned an engineering degree in 1960 from Penn State.
He attained the rank of Fellow with the ASQC and was a member of Chapman Lodge No. 637, F&AM.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Christine M., wife of Richard Hildebrand of Walnutport; son John S. and wife, Keri Schaadt, of Emmaus; and grandchildren Ashley, Elijah and Sydney.
He was predeceased by his sister, Bonita Kotch.
The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service, on June 7 at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville.
