David W. Lentz
David W. Lentz, 67, of Allentown, formerly of Williamsport, Lycoming County, died suddenly May 30, 2024, in his home.
He and his wife, Elizabeth A. “Liz” Lentz, were married 19 years.
Born in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Wesley B. Lentz and Marian (Avery) Schaefer of Montoursville and her husband, the late Frederick C. Schaefer Jr.
He faithfully and honorably served in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era.
He was in corporate management for Kraft Foods Inc., Glenview, Ill. for 26 years before retiring in 2006.
He was co-owner and operator for TJMK Enterprises and Two Dude LLC, Allentown, since 2005.
He was a member of the former Western Lehigh Lions Club, Red Bend Hunting Club and St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by son, Jonathan D. Lentz and his wife, Kayla, of Montoursville; daughter, Amber Marie Lentz, at home; brother Douglas B. Lentz and his wife, Pamela, of Indianland, S.C.; sister Sandra Lentz Strother and her husband, Roderick. of Hughesville; grandchildren Nolan and Laurel Lentz; and cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. June 22 in St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1400 Market St., Williamsport, with Pastor Jeff LeCrone officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects 10:30-11 a.m. Saturday in the church.
Interment will be private.
