William J. (Bill) Vargo, 74, of Emmaus, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family May 26, 2024. He was the husband of Charlotte (Moyer) Vargo. He was the son of the late Rose Mary (Schmaldinst) and William A. Vargo.
He grew up in Zionsville and graduated from Emmaus High School in 1969.
A proud veteran, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a load master during the Vietnam War.
He was employed for 40 years and retired from Knoll International, East Greenville.
He is survived by his wife; stepson, Michael R. Bilka and his wife, Regina; step-grandson, Michael D. Bilka; sisters, Patricia Ritter, Mary Ellen Banyas; nephews, Stephen and Joshua Ritter; niece, Jennifer Hiestand. He was predeceased by sons, Justin and Jason.
