William B. Falstich
William B. Falstich, 72, of East Allen Township, died May 31, 2024, at his residence. He was the husband of Cindy A. (Yany) Falstich for 47 years.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William H. and Mildred (Bengston) Falstich.
He was a 1969 graduate of Northampton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Kutztown State Teachers College and a master’s degree in education from Lehigh University.
He earned an elementary teaching position with Northampton Area School District, later becoming principal at George Wolf Elementary School, Bath. He transitioned to assistant superintendent of school curriculum and then personnel, finishing with 35 years of service to the district and retiring in 2008.
He was a member and active volunteer at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath, where he served as past church council president.
He was a 41-year member of Bath Lions Club where he was past president and treasure for many years. He was instrumental in securing the Boy Scout Charter for Troop 33 through Bath Lions Club. He was a charter member and past president of Northampton Area Konkrete Kids Education Foundation and was instrumental in its fundraising efforts, including its annual golf tournament. He was a member of Bath American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, William M. and wife Lori of Douglassville and Michael T. and wife Caitlin of North Huntingdon; a sister, Donna Fields of Bath; and four grandchildren, William T., Alexander, Conor and Cara.
There will be calling time 6-7:30 p.m. June 6 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067, and 9:30-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., June 7 at the church, 206 E. Main St., Bath.
