Marilyn Ruth Zazworsky, 92, formerly of Fogelsville, died May 24, 2024, at Devon House Assisted Living, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Vladimir Zazworsky for 45 years.

Born in West Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Beltz) Bergenstock.

She was a graduate of Whitehall High School and attended business college.

She was employed as an executive secretary at Buckeye Pipe Line Company, Macungie, for 35 years, retiring in 1986. She worked part time for Allentown Art Museum.

She was a member of Christ’s Church at Lowhill.

She was a past matron of Anne Penn Allen Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and was a member of the YMCA.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Yurkanin with Joseph of Allentown and Sandra Kenawell with Mark of New Tripoli; a sister, Jayne Shambo; three grandchildren, Joseph and twins Elizabeth and Mark; and six great-grandchildren, Marley, Mason, Leonardo, Alexander, Scarlett and Jay.

She was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Fluck.
