Hokendauqua: Electronics recycling day set for June 29

Whitehall Township will be hosting an electronics recycling and document shredding day 9 a.m.-1 p.m. June 29 at the township complex, 3219 MacArthur Road. This event is for Whitehall Township residents only.

You must stay in your vehicle. There is a limit of 10 boxes for shredding. You must have the exact funds or a check, made payable to Responsible Recycling Services, prepared if dropping off any items with a fee.

Reminder: Saturdays in Whitehall are sure to be fun with the recreation bureau’s concert series. Come hear good tunes and enjoy delicious food and drinks from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St.

The dates are as follows, along with the food trucks set to be present. Hawk Mountain Brewery and Soaked Winery will also be on site.

• July 13: GirlCrue, with Hoff’s Kettle Corn, Flying Deutschman and S&D SOULicious Cuisine

• July 27: Aardvarks, with Hoff’s Kettle Corn, Vince’s Cheesesteaks, S&D SOULicious Cuisine and Up in Smoke BBQ

• Aug. 10: SteelCreek, with S&D SOULicious Cuisine
