Stalking

On May 24, Bethlehem Police charged Marin Nothstein, 53, of Orefield, for breaking a Protection From Abuse order.

Police began an investigation in early May on behalf of Nothstein’s ex-girlfriend, a city resident who had been granted a PFAs, which restricts direct and indirect contact with protected parties.

Nothstein allegedly violated the PFA frequently, with the investigation and phone records indicating he was often in proximity of the victim’s home, place of employment and child’s Little League field. He also allegedly made numerous attempts to contact the victim, who also suffered damage to her lawn.

A warrant on Nothstein’s mobile revealed a search asking if weed killer also kills grass.

Nothstein is charged with stalking and criminal mischief.
