End-of-year events are on the calendar.

Salisbury Elementary School is in the middle of its spring concerts. The first grade concert will be May 29, second grade will be May 30, third grade will be May 31 and fourth grade will be June 3 combined with graduation.

All concerts begin 9:15 a.m. with doors opening 9:05 a.m.

The third and fourth grade field day will be held 1:15 p.m. May 30.

One last reminder the SES Ice Cream Festival will be held noon to 4 p.m. June 1. This is such a fun day of food, fun and friends. Come join us.

At Salisbury Middle School, the fifth grade end-of-year picnic will be June 4, sixth grade picnic will be June 5 and the seventh grade picnic is June 6.

The last day of the 2023-2024 school year is June 10. Woo Hoo! There will be an early dismissal June 7 which means 12:15 p.m. for the middle school and high school and 1:15 p.m. for elementary.

On June 10, high school and middle school dismiss 10:30 a.m. and elementary 11:15 a.m. Enjoy your summer!

Do you have clothes in your closet you just don’t wear anymore and are in great shape? Please consider dropping them at Salisbury High School 9 a.m. to noon June 8 for theAthletic Booster Club clothing drive. They take clothes of any size, shoes, accessories and household fabrics (towels, sheets, etc). For a complete list, visit www.clothingdrive.net.

After dropping off your clothes, stop and visit the SHS Class of 2026 craft/vendor fair 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 8 in the school parking lot. There will also be food trucks and a basket raffle. Come out and support our local small businesses.

The Salisbury Township Summer Playground Program is set to begin June 17 and end July 26. It runs 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday and 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday nights. It will be held at Devonshire, Green Acres, Laubach and Lindberg parks. This program is for Salisbury residents who have completed kindergarten through age 12. Registration forms will be available at the parks and need to be filled out on the first day you attend. Have fun!

Yard waste drop-offs are open. The Franko site will be open May 30, June 1 and 10. Devonshire will be open June 3, 6 and 8. As always, hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
