Marilyn Ruth Zazworsky, 92, formerly of Applewood, Fogelsville, died May 24, 2024, in Devon House Assisted Living, Allentown.

The wife of the late Vladimir Zazworsky who died in 1996, the couple was married 45 years.

Born in West Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Beltz) Bergenstock.

A graduate of Whitehall High School, she attended Business College and was an executive secretary at Buckeye Pipe Line Co., Macungie, for 35 years, before retiring in 1986.

She then worked part-time for the Allentown Art Museum.

She was a member of Christ’s Church at Lowhill, a past matron of Anne Penn Allen Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the YMCA.

Her survivors include daughters Sharon Yurkanin (Joseph) of Allentown and Sandra Kenawell (Mark) of New Tripoli; sister Jayne Shambo; grandson Joseph, and twin grandchildren, Elizabeth and Mark; and great-grandchildren Marley, Mason, Leonardo, Alexander, Scarlett and Jay.

She predeceased by a sister, Gladys Fluck.
