The men’s breakfast group of St. John’s United Church of Christ meets the first Saturday of the month at Hamilton Family Restaurant, 2027 Hamilton St., Allentown. The next meeting is 8:30 a.m. June 1.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will be holding its annual church festival 6-10 p.m. June 7 and again 5-10 p.m. June 8.
The event will feature a variety of food items including St. E’s famous halupki dinner, cabbage and noodles, french fries, funnel cake, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, pierogies, potato pancakes, sausage and peppers, steak sandwiches, snow cones and waffles and ice cream. There will also be beer and wine pouches.
There will be children’s entertainment in the form of a balloon guy and strolling magician and children’s games. There will be a bake sale, adult games and raffles. Local bands will be Steel Creek Band June 7 and Flirtin’ with the Mob June 8.

St. John’s UCC, 575 Grape St., will be having Vacation Bible School 6-8 p.m. July 15-19 at the church. The theme is “Hometown Nazareth - Where Jesus was a Kid.”
Any children who graduated from kindergarten through sixth grade this school year are welcome to register on the church website at stjohnsuccfullerton.org/vbs.
