The Whitehall High School senior class breakfast and cap and gown distribution will be 8-10 a.m. May 31, followed by a senior parade, weather permitting, 10-11 a.m. on the Whitehall-Coplay School District campus. All parents/guardians and families are invited to the parade. There is no rain date.

Students will wear their gowns and walk around campus to the elementary and middle schools as a final goodbye to the campus before preparing for graduation. They will leave WHS around 10 a.m.

Students who have outstanding obligations will not be able to receive their cap and gown or participate in the parade until obligations are cleared.

WCSD has set aside a special parent viewing area to see the senior class during the parade. Park in the stadium parking lot and gather along the parade route as the seniors pass by after visiting the schools.

There will be road closures during this event, so enter campus from Schadt Avenue and Campus Drive to the parking lot. Do not gather at the elementary and middle schools to allow enough room for the younger students.

Field day for fourth grade is May 31 at the Zephyr Sports Complex. Parents/guardians are invited to spectate from designated locations.

• Track events are 9:30-10:45 a.m.

• Field events are set for 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Tug of war tournament is 2:15-3 p.m.

The senior athletic awards will be presented 6:30-8 p.m. May 31 at WHS.

Students may attend the senior sunset event to watch the sun setting over the campus 8 p.m. June 2 at the Zephyr Athletic Complex.

Seniors should report to the WHS auditorium 8:15 a.m. June 3 for graduation practice, which will last until 12:45 p.m.

Students should not wear their caps and gowns to practice. Those who do not attend practice will not be able to attend graduation. Students must ride the buses to and from PPL Center, Allentown.

Graduation is set for 7-10 p.m. June 3 at PPL Center.

The last day of school for students in first through 11th grades is June 5, with an early dismissal. June 4 is the last day for kindergarten students.
