Christine M. Gaugler, 83, of Alburtis, died peacefully May 20, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Richard R. Gaugler for 54 years before his death in 2018. Born in Stony Run, she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Marian G. (German) Peiffer.

She owned Christine’s Beauty Shop in Alburtis for more than 50 years.

She was a member of Zion Lehigh Evangelical Lutheran Church, Alburtis.

She was the epitome of what a person should be. She was a woman of integrity, her love had no boundaries, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was an amazing mother, mother-in-law, grandma, great grandma and friend. No one will ever live up to the wonderful cook and baker she was.

She is survived by sons, Timothy R. and his wife, Collette, Joel R. and his wife, Diane; daughters, Michelle C. Williamson and her husband, Norman, Jennifer M. Feichtel and her husband, Scott; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Arlyn Peiffer, Glenn Peiffer and his wife, Renee.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. May 30, in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, 8375 Ruth Lane, Alburtis. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
