Robert “Uncle Bob” E. Andrew, 91, of Saylorsburg and Bethlehem, died May 7, 2024, at home. He was a son of the late Elmer and Hertha (Ihle). He was the husband of Catherine Andrew for42 years

He was a Fountain Hill HS graduate.

He was a sergeant in the Korean War.

He was a longtime candy-maker for 29 years for Josh Early Candies.

He was a member of Neola United Methodist Church.

He belonged to the American Legion.

He was a gardener and earned several blue ribbons at the West End Fair. He made sauerkraut. He created“putz” villages with Lionel trains, Weimaraners and an afternoon beer (or two).

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Gilbert; a daughter, Judy Felchock (Scott); a grandson, Tristan (Cay); a great-grandson, Becket; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

He was predeceased by a brother, Wilson; two sisters-in-law, Hilda and Helen; and a son, Christopher.
