The 116th Bethlehem Bach Festival concluded with concerts, luncheons, dinners, lectures and special events May 10 and 11 and May 17, 18 and 19 in Bethlehem.
Venues where the Bach Choir of Bethlehem performed, along with the Bach Festival Orchestra and soloists, conducted by Dr. Christopher Jackson, included Incarnation of Our Lord Church, and Packer Memorial Church and Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University, and Moravian University.
Festival Artist in Residence was Vincent Lauzer, recorder musician.
Dr. Michael Marissen presented a lecture in Zoellner.
A Bach Chorale Sing with audience members took place.
The Bel Canto Youth Chorus of the Bach Choir of Bethlehem performed in the Zoellner Arts Center Lobby.
There was a re-creation of Zimmermann’s Coffee House.
MainStreet Brass played at Packer Church.
J.S. Bach’s “Mass in B Minor” was performed May 11 and 18 in Packer Church.
The Young American Singers Competition Finals was May 19.
