Memorial Day is celebrated May 27. Catasauqua Area School District will be closed in observance of this federal holiday. Lehigh Career & Technical Institute will also be closed for this holiday. Both schools will reopen May 28.

Lehigh Career & Technical Institute Class of 2024: It’s almost time for senior recognition night, which celebrates the class and its members’ accomplishments. The recognition ceremony is 6:30 p.m. May 29 at PPL Center, 701 Hamilton St., Allentown. Doors will open 5:30 p.m.

Schoolwide and program award winners will be announced, and all of the seniors will be recognized for their achievements during the ceremony.

Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s surplus inventory auction will be held 4 p.m. July 18 behind the distribution center/HEO lab. The auction will feature a variety of interactive whiteboards, computer equipment, classroom furniture and more.
