Nearly 50 residents filled the conference room to voice their concerns to the Upper Milford Township Supervisors May 16 regarding parking in Jasper Ridge.
For an hour, residents raised concerns focusing on parking on both sides of the road, parking on one side, how would garbage collection and snow removal work and who exactly would reinforce the parking laws of Jasper Ridge.
William Erdman from Keystone Consulting Engineers and Jasper Ridge’s Homeowners Association President Scott Strahler did their best to alleviate the concerns raised by both residents and the board.
Strahler assured the board the points being raised are being considered in plan revisions.
For instance, guidelines were sent to homeowners related to parking on the streets when a snow event is expected.
As for garbage, Strahler seemed confident with the measures currently in place.
Supervisors Chair John Zgura received board approval to table the matter until a more detailed plan is provided, expected within the month.
Township offices will be closed July 5 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
