Margaret (Shannon) died in Greece, to which she had moved, on April 20, 2024. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late George and Grace (Binder) Shannon., She was the wife of the late Donald J. Lynn.

She was a garment presser at Fountain Hill Mills.

She was a union steward with the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union.

She is survived by a son, Jeffrey (Alex) Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Lynn; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Lynn Jr., Nicholas Lynn, Alyssa Lynn and Skylar Lynn; and three great-grandchildren, Josiah, Bianca and Marina.

She was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fountain Hill.

She crocheted and made ceramics, especially Christmas figurines.

She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Lynn.
