WILDLANDS Programs for kids offered

Wildlands Conservancy will be offering the following free programs in June at the Trexler Nature Preserve, Environmental Education Center, 4935 Orchard Road, Schnecksville.

·PreK Pathfinders: Herpetology, Amphibians at TNP for children ages 3-5 and their grown-ups 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. June 4.

Games and experiments will help participants understand what makes frogs, toads, and salamanders so special.

·Explorer Day Camp for students in kindergarten to fifth grade 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 26.

Unearth the thrill and beauty of nature found in forests, rivers, and parks.

Join them for a day of exploration, experimentation, and creativity at their popular Summer Day Camp.

Activities will range from survival skills, wildlife, art, and science, for a full day of fun.

Preregistration at engage.wildlandspa.org is required to attend both programs.
