Kenneth G. Snyder, 89, of Lehigh Commons, Macungie, formerly of Fogelsville, died May 2, 2024.
The loving husband of Beulah A.C. (Burkhart) Snyder, the couple celebrated 69 years of marriage in April.
Born in Heidelberg Township, he was the son of the late George and Viola (Bittner) Snyder.
From 1963-70, he was employed at the former Lehigh Portland Cement Company, Fogelsville.
He then worked as a truck driver for the Morning Call until his retirement in 1997
He was a longtime member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fogelsville, where he served on several committees, most notably the property committee and the “Busy Bees.”
He loved sports of all kinds, and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, the Phillies and the 76ers.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a granddaughter Aimee Snyder of Selinsgrove; daughter-in-law Margaret Snyder of Kempton; sisters Sally Drabick, and husband, Stan, of Orefield and Grace Snyder of Northampton; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Mark G. Snyder, and a sister, Annabelle Smith.
