Sheckler Elementary School fourth-grade students have several activities planned for this month.

The class egg drop will be May 17, the field trip to Jacobsburg is set for May 23, a visit to Catasauqua Middle School is planned for May 29, and water day will be May 31.

Third-grade students will take a field trip to the George Taylor House May 21.

Sheckler Elementary’s field day is set for May 22.

Catasauqua Area School District will be closed May 27 for Memorial Day. Students will resume normal schedules May 28.

The last day for Sheckler students is June 6. Students will be dismissed noon.

Sheckler has partnered with Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21 to offer students a summer camp opportunity at Sheckler.

Young Stemologist Academy is a camp that explores the wonders of STEM and is open for students in grades 2-4.

The program will run 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 25 and 26 and is $25 per child.
