Janet D. Jacobs, 83, died May 1, 2024. She was the wife of the late Ronald N. Jacobs Sr. for 38 years and the companion of Thomas Haldeman for 20 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Althea (Baer) Strohl.

For many years, she worked at Alburtis Park.

In addition to her companion, she is survived by a son, Ronald N. Jr. and wife LaRue; a daughter, Cheryl A. Miller; a sister, Ruth Ann “Honey” Bachman; five grandchildren, Jennifer Valencia, John D. Faust Jr., Joshua M., Justin and Alexander Molchany; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Debora J., wife of John D. Faust Sr.; a son-in-law, Robert Molchany Jr.; a brother-in-law, Robert Bachman; and a sister, June with Paul Wagner.
