Whitehall High School Photography Club member Caroline Schmoyer wins the congressional competition for the 7th District at Baum School of Art, Allentown. The first-place winning artwork from each district will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel Gallery of the U.S. Capitol for one year. Schmoyer has also been showcasing her work in The Press.

Schmoyer's piece, titled “Never Satisfied,” features WHS wrestler Trokon Kai and Emmaus High School wrestler Logan Armstrong. Kai, regional placer, is a second-year wrestler who has made it to Hershey for the first time. Kai said Coach Cunningham inspires him. Schmoyer added she was inspired also from seeing Kai's pride in his accomplishments. CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS
