Catherine Theresa Hilda Mueller, 101 years old, died May 2, 2024, at Cedarbrook, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Paul Mueller for 63 years.
She was a first generation American, born to the late Martin and Catherine (Rosta) Seglets who emigrated from Austria-Hungary.
She held many jobs, working as a beautician for Rafae Beauty Salon, Bethlehem Steel during World War II, Laros Sewing Factory, Roller-Smith and Bethlehem Instrument/Bitronics Corporation, from which she retired.
She was a lifelong Catholic. She was a former member of Holy Ghost Church in Bethlehem and the former St. Michael’s Church in Northampton and is currently a member of Queenship of Mary Church and the Women’s Guild in Northampton.
She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte and husband John Kelhart of Northampton; a grandson, Richard Capra and wife Tammy; two great-grandchildren, Emilie and Ty Capra of Northampton; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by a baby daughter, Catherine; and two brothers, Joseph and Martin Seglets.
Contributions may be made to the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton.
