Alois H. Pany, 97, of Northampton, died May 4, 2024, in Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. He was the husband of the late Mary (Pidstawski) Pany.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Ignatz and Elizabeth (Garger) Pany.
He honorably served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a tool and dye maker at Lucent Technologies for 35 years.
He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.
He was a member of Lucent Pioneers, Alliance Fire Company, Northampton Liederkranz and Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714.
He is survived by two daughters, Lois M. Favier and husband William and Candace Steffie and companion Michael Nesgoda; five grandchildren, Jamie Steffie and Lora, Larissa Favier, Tara Steffie-Karol and husband Mike, Brianne Favier and Garrett Favier and wife Casey; six great-grandchildren, Connor, Cole, Calysta, Jackson, Alison and Micah; two brothers, Sylvester and Alfred; a sister, Hilda; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Joseph; and 10 siblings.
