Stephen F. Marsch Jr., 79, of Northampton and formerly of Cementon, died April 28, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Stephen F. Sr. and Pauline S. (Biss) Marsch.

He was a 1964 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School. He earned an associate degree in accounting from Allentown Business School.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked for the former Hess’s Department Store, Allentown Kitchens Inc. and Stuyves Insurance Company in Allentown. He retired in 2004 from Air Products, where he worked as an accounting assistant.

He was a member and past commander of Catholic War Veterans Post 454, Northampton.

He was a lector, Eucharistic minister and choir member at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He is survived by many cousins.

He was predeceased by a longtime companion, Helen Filipovits.
