Salisbury High School spring concert scheduled May 7

Salisbury High School will hold its spring concert 7 p.m. May 7.
The concert will feature choral and instrumental performances as well as a tribute to the Class of 2024. Admission is free and a reception will follow the concert.
The Salisbury Township School District art show will be 5-8 p.m. May 8 at SHS, 500 E. Montgomery St. The display will feature art from students in grades K-12. Make sure to stop by and see some of the amazing talents from the students in the township.
May 10 is an early dismissal day for all students. SHS and Salisbury Middle School will dismiss 12:15 p.m. and Salisbury Elementary School will dismiss 1:15 p.m. Please make sure any dismissal changes for your youngest Falcons are communicated to the school as needed.
Now that the PSSAs are over, it is time for the SHS Keystone Assessments. They will run May 13-14 for algebra, May 15-16 for biology and May 20-21 for literature. The school district asks that if possible any appointments and vacations be avoided at this time to complete this testing. Please stay tuned for information for those taking and not taking the assessments.
The last days of school information has been released by the district!
June 7 will be an early dismissal for all students. Students at SHS and SMS will dismiss 12:15 p.m. and SES will follow 1:15 p.m.
The last day of the school year will be June 10 with SHS and SMS dismissing 10:30 a.m. and SES dismissing 11:15 a.m. Please note dismissal times for those with younger students to make arrangements for bus pickups.
The next operations and finance committee meeting for the school district will be held 7 p.m. May 8 at the administration building, 1140 Salisbury Road.
The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club will hold a clothing drive 9 a.m. to noon June 8 at the entrance to the SHS auxiliary gym. Start purging those unwanted items from closets and dressers now!
The SHS Class of 2026 will host a craft and vendor fair/community yard sale 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 8, with a rain date of June 9, in the SHS student parking lot. There will be basket raffles and a basket sale as well. There is a charge for space rental. For more information or to rent a space, contact Leah Saliby at LSaliby@salisburysd.org.
The township yard waste drop-off sites are now open. The Devonshire site will be open May 9 and 11 and the Franko site will be open May 13, 16 and 18. The sites are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
