Audience favorite bands, along with several new performers, highlight Mayfair Festival of the Arts, May 24-26, Cedar Crest College, Allentown.

The 2024 edition of the free festival, which serves as the unofficial kickoff for the summer season, has 17 performers and bands on two stages during the three-day event.

Opening the festival May 24 on the Main Stage is Rogue Diplomats with traditional Celtic music infused with contemporary American folk, and headliner GoGo Gadjet, which combines traditional instruments with modern synthesizers and controller.

At the Artist Market Performance Patio May 25 is a performer new to Mayfair, Melody Cruz, a singer-songwriter who performs covers and originals.

A band new to Mayfair is Bethlehem rock band The Weekenders, who perform on the Main Stage May 25, and are joined by fan favorite The Large Flowerheads; The Wonton Soups, with originals and covers influenced by ska and funk, and headliner party band UUU.

Also on May 25, pop-jazz singer Kristen Morgenstern debuts at the Artist Market Performance Patio, joined by the country classic rock sounds of Erin Kelley and DMC Duo with rock, pop and country covers and originals.

Anchoring the Main Stage May 26 is funk party band Philadelphia Funk Authority, along with popular rock band Supersonic Godfathers, the contemporary jams of Billy Bauer Band and 10-piece dance orchestra Central City Orchestra to close out.

On the Artist Market Performance Patio May 26, Kendal Conrad will play acoustic originals. along with singer-songwriter Stacy Gabel and pop singer Ben Tyler.
