The East Penn Conference lacrosse tournaments get underway this week.
Action starts on Wednesday in the boys bracket with the top four teams squaring off at Northampton in a doubleheader.
At 5:30 p.m., second-seeded Parkland faces off against third-seeded Easton and in the 7:30 p.m. nightcap, top-seeded Emmaus then takes on the fourth-seeded Vikings from Central Catholic.
On Friday night, the girls take center stage with 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. start times, beginning with Easton and Emmaus in a two-three matchup, followed by top-seeded Pleasant Valley taking on Nazareth.
The championship for both classifications will be next Tuesday back at Northampton with the girls title at 5 p.m. and the boys to follow at 7:30 p.m.
Easton won last year’s EPC title for the boys and Pleasant Valley is favored to take home their third straight championship in girls.
