A public notice was posted that the conditional use hearing rescheduled for May 2 during the Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners meeting was postponed again.

This hearing is regarding the proposed 180 unit apartment building along Lower Macungie Road across from Lower Macungie Middle School. The address is 6300 Lower Macungie Road. The hearing is now scheduled for June 20. The applicant made the request for postponement.

Resolution 2024-26 was approved which allows for a minor subdivision at a lot along Brookside Road. The lot is presently a single home dwelling with seven acres of land.

It is located on the west side of Brookside Road just north of the East Texas road intersection. There are presently no plans for the additional lot.

The next board of commissioners meeting will be 6 p.m. May 16.

An executive session was held for a litigation issue.
