At Sheckler Elementary School, third grade’s career day is set for May 10, and second grade’s will be May 17.

Fourth-grade students have several activities set for May.

A trip to Hugh Moore Park is set for May 10, the band concert will be 7 p.m. May 15, and the class egg drop is May 17.

The last day for kindergarten registration is May 16. Eligible students must turn 5 years old before Sept. 1 and live within Catasauqua Area School District boundaries.

Visit Sheckler’s Facebook page to see photos from the school’s Kinder Garden! The kindergarten class has been working on an outdoor garden box in the pollinator garden. When the students return as first-graders, the garden will be filled with yellow blooms.

The Kinder Garden will continue each year, as harvest seeds will be passed along to the next kindergarten class.
