Moore Township: Land, environmental protection board meeting set for May 13

Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board next meets May 13. Meetings are held 7 p.m. at the township municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

Consider joining this active, successful board as it labors to preserve the township’s farms and rural character.

Moore Township Recreation Committee’s next meeting is planned for 7 p.m. May 16 at the municipal building.

The committee’s goals are to assist township children and families. Consider supporting its important work.

The recreation committee is providing an opportunity to purchase a brick for the veterans memorial located at the recreation center. Visit donate.brickmarkers.com/moore to donate or for information on how to order a memorial brick.

The township historical commission next meets May 28 at the municipal building. Learn about the rich history of Moore Township.

Moore Township Board of Supervisors will meet 6 p.m. June 4 at the municipal building. The meeting agenda will be available on the township website, mooretownship.org.

The Community Days committee’s next meeting is 6:30 p.m. June 13 at the municipal building.

Bingo is held 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 5 p.m.

The night includes prizes, progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank and wash line bingo.

Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, Moorestown, hosts a Boy Scout Troop 74 meeting 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the social hall. Boy Scouts are for boys and girls 10 years old and up.
