Indianland Garden Club next meets 7 p.m. May 14 at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville. Race Roth will present a program titled “When all else doesn’t work, plant a peony.”

A new entry for the meeting is a club member presenting information on a topic. The May meeting tidbit is container gardening.

In addition, the club will be holding its annual plant sale 9 a.m.-noon May 18 in the pavilion at Hope Lutheran Church. All plants and shrubs are from member gardens. All purchases are cash and carry.

Lehigh Township Police Department with be hosting a movie in the park 8 p.m. May 31 at Danielsville Park, 1265 Walnut Drive. Disney Pixar’s “The Incredibles” will be shown, and the snack stand will be open.

Lehigh Township Historical Society is having a barbecue-to-go meal noon-3 p.m. June 15.

Pickup will be at the LTHS Historical Centre, 3811 Lehigh Drive. Choose from roast chicken or pulled pork with baked potato and roll with butter. Choose two sides of applesauce, baked beans or creamed cabbage and home-baked cake for dessert.

Catering is provided by Country View Meats, Danielsville.
